“Let’s make a positive impact together…”

Causes We Support

In early 2019, I began making hand crafted, wood-burned flags. My first flag started off as a gift for my wife, and then it hit me! I thought to myself, this is it! This is how I can give back to a few organizations that continue to help me, and other Veterans who struggle with things such as PTSD. I immediately felt like it was the right thing to do, and that it would be a great way to bring awareness to the Veteran community who need it most!! There are way too many Veterans out there that just do not know how many resources are available! I was one of them many years ago, and I still continue to learn about new ones every single day!! There are a ton!! It’s just a matter of networking and getting in touch with the right people.

I began donating to these organizations in June, and being that it was PTSD Awareness Month, I am proud to say that I donated $1,225.00! I continue to donate to various other organizations throughout the year as well. Every time I spread knowledge, and/or refer a Veteran/buddy to Family & Psychological Services, Hoplite Resilience Center, and Veterans Advocacy Services, it makes me feel good. It gives me that self-worth that I had back in the Military. During the month of July in 2019, I reached out to Craig Sawyer, Marine, Navy Seal, and Founder of Veterans for Child Rescue. I asked if I could help assist in the fight against child/human trafficking and help support his mission. He was onboard and away we went. I was able to donate $200.00 for the month of July! Until supplies last, I will be including a rubber bracelet and a couple pamphlets from Veterans for Child Rescue with each flag, to help spread awareness. I will also include information on Family & Psychological Services, and well as Hoplite Resilience Center.

“MISSION ACCOMPLISHMENT IS PRIORITY!! IF WE CAN REACH OUT AND SPREAD THE KNOWLEDGE TO OUR VETERAN COMMUNITY... EVEN IF IT’S ONE VETERAN A DAY, WEEK, MONTH, OR EVEN A YEAR, FORREST’S FLAGS HAS ACCOMPLISHED THE MISSION!!!”
